Commercial and Industrial Solar Water Heating System Working Principle
1. The storage tank is first filled with cold water, and the collector loop is filled and primed.
2. Solar radiation heats the water inside the vacuum tubes of the collector.
3. When the controller senses that the temperature difference between the collector and the storage tank has reached the set value, it automatically starts the circulation pump.
4. The pump circulates water through the loop, transferring heat from the collector to the tank.
5. Heated water enters the storage tank, while cooler water from the bottom of the tank flows back into the collector.
6. If the tank temperature does not reach the set value, the auxiliary electric heater automatically switches on to provide additional heating.
7. When the temperature difference falls below the set threshold, the circulation pump stops automatically.
8. If the stored water still hasn’t reached the target temperature, the auxiliary heater continues operating until the required level is achieved.
9. Once the water reaches the desired temperature, it is stored in the tank, ready for use.
